Pine Script, MQL (MetaTrader), and thinkScript (thinkorswim) all let you build strategies — but they're built for very different traders. Here's how to choose.
Three languages, three platforms
If you want to automate or backtest a strategy, you'll write it in the language of your platform. Pine Script is TradingView. MQL4/MQL5 is MetaTrader. thinkScript is thinkorswim. They solve the same problem but feel completely different.
